Three Steps to Keep Your Vinyl Floor Clean For Long Time

Vinyl flooring is a popular choice kitchens and bathrooms due to its characteristics of waterproof, fireproof and easy to clean. It’s attractive, durable, and long-lasting. To clean vinyl flooring is quite direct and inexpensive, with proper care, it’s easy to keep its original excellent appearance for a long time.

Step 1.Maintain Your Vinyl Flooring

Use a doormat to keep away dirt, tiny pits of gravel and other chemicals from being taken into your door. Or take off your shoes before entering the house.
Sweep every day to avoid dirt and dust from buildings and being a trouble. They are abrasive and will certainly take the sheen off.
Clean up spills right away instead of letting it dry on the vinyl floor. Sweet drinks are much more harder to clean up once being dry. Cleaning messes right away will help to keep your floor looking pretty shiny and stay you away from doing a lot of work later.

Step 2.Doing A Deeper Clean

Use your vinegar solution and add a soup spoon of dish soap. The soap should help to lift dirt embedded in the floor.
Use a swab for deeper cleaning.
For stubborn scuffs, putting some WD-40 or jojoba oil and rub the area till the scuffs disappear.
A baking soda paste do help on stains. Mix baking soda with water to make a thick paste, it is slightly abrasive and can wipe the stains right off.

Don’t scrub too much. It will take the sheen off of your vinyl flooring. It’s pretty important to use the softest possible material to remove dirt or blots.
Don’t use abrasive cleaners. Using any old type of abrasive cleaners will certainly take the original sheen of your vinyl floor off.
Keep your vinyl floor away from getting too wet. Steeping the floor in water will damage the surface treating. Only use as much water as you need and keep it dry when your job is over.
